From design file to a piece ready for your project
Thulathi provides laser cutting and engraving services for custom designs, names and logos, and parts that go into an award, model or display piece.
We serve projects that need approved materials for execution such as acrylic, wood and MDF, depending on the nature of the request. We review the file, material and thickness before determining the execution method. Cutting to produce an independent piece differs from engraving to show a text, mark or inscription, and the design may need adjustment to fonts, details or part layout before manufacturing.
What do we need to review the request?
The design file in its dimensioned format, or a clear drawing of the dimensions, the material type, thickness and color, the number of pieces, and the required date and destination. Clarify which parts you want cut versus which you want engraved, and any assembly, gluing or mounting requirements.
Do you have an idea without a ready file?
Preparing the design can be studied as an independent scope before cutting. Photos and references help clarify the result, but they don't substitute for the required measurements when the piece is part of an assembly or fits with other elements.
Pricing and finishing
The price is affected by the raw material area, the complexity of cutting and engraving paths, the number of pieces, and design preparation, assembly and finishing. The quote defines the work covered only; gluing, painting, mounting or packaging are not assumed to be included in every cutting request.
Material approval comes first
Not every material is suitable for laser work. When you bring your own material, its type must be clarified and the team's approval obtained before execution. Materials of unknown composition or that aren't approved are rejected, and a request isn't confirmed based on color or shape alone.
Do you accept files that need modification?
They can be reviewed, and any modifications and their cost clarified before execution begins.
Do you supply the material and its source?
The quote specifies the material and its source based on availability and project requirements, with details confirmed before approval.
